We are tumult

tumult is a small game studio. We make games you play together in the same room, thumbs at the ready and laughter turned all the way up.

Games for the room

Our games belong on the sofa, in the classroom, in the kitchen and in the back seat. Everyone plays on their own phone, but the best part happens in the room: the screams, the cheering and the looks when someone else wins.

We build for portrait phones, so you can start in ten seconds without installing anything.

Funny beats fair

These are party games, not esports. Our games are allowed to be unfair: a random elimination, a runner who never saw it coming, a race turned around at the last second. As long as everyone in the room can see what happened and howl with laughter, the unfairness is a virtue.

The only kind we dislike is the confusing kind, where nobody knows what hit them. We try to remove that one.

Our first game

Fingerspurt is a tap race over 100, 200 or 400 metres in the browser. You tap your way forward, pick up hurdle plates on the track and hope the elephant lands on somebody else.
